I Passed!

No one could possibly understand how scared I was going in to take this stupid math test. I just sat in my car before I went in and almost started crying because I knew I was going to fail. I guess I am smarter than I thought, or maybe just an amazing guesser. I got an A- yay!

Weekend Recap

What a long weekend! Thursday, Dixie @ SUU. Yeah, we got killed. But Hailey and I had fun! It was amazing how much of a difference there was in the temperature from St. George to Cedar. It was kinda chilly in Cedar once the sun went down. I got back to St. George at like 10:30 and it was still like 95 degrees! Yuck!

On Friday, I had every intention of waking up early and leaving here by 9, but yeah we didn't leave until 11. I unfortunately and unwillingly had to drive to Fillmore, then Alex drove the rest of the way. Fillmore is almost halfway though, so it was almost even. It was nice to get home and see my family. I have missed them for the past month! I was excited to go to Jason's game that night, and Box Elder even won! Kristen was such an unbelievable nerd though. She brought her text books to the game. Haha. I don't think I have ever seen someone at a football game reading text books on pathophysiology or whatever it was. It was exciting because Jason even got to go in a few times throughout the game.

Saturday was a really long day. It was Austin's wedding and I had to be to the dinner, ring ceremony, and reception. I really am not sure if I ever want to get married, it costs SO much for just ONE day. It seems really stressful and tiring and long. And, I would hate to have to talk and see so many people. I want my wedding day to be simple and not stressful. It would be cool to have some extravagent and magnificent wedding, but that all costs money- which I don't have. I just want Otis Spunkmeyer cookies served at my wedding haha.

The weekend did fly by way fast, but it was still a good one. On Sunday, we went to Grandma's and had dinner... Then Alex and I went on our Sunday drive up some steep road in the mountains, but other than that, I didn't really do anything. We watched a good movie called Tears of the Sun. And mom made me the best treats ever! She is such a good mom! I already miss her. And the rest of my family of course. Now that I am back in St. George, it's back to tests, quizzes, papers, and a whole lot of boring crap that I don't have any desire to do. I am behind in Math and need to catch up because I have my first test on Monday. I have a paper due tomorrow in English, another paper due on Friday in Communications, a Bio test that has to be taken by this Thursday, and then ANOTHER Bio tests opens this weekend that has to be taken by next Tuesday. UHH! Someone please put me out of my misery.

Gross!

So pretty much I had a very gross experience today before I went to the gym. Here at Rebel Creek, we have all sorts of bugs crawling around the place. Tarantulas, scorpions, lizards, cockroaches, grashoppers, and that is just to name a few. For the past few nights I have heard a cricket and I figured it was hiding under my bed with all the boxes and crap under there. Turns out, that little shit was living in my closet. I put my tennis shoes on and walked out to my car. As I was about to get into my car, I noticed a big lump in my shoe. I hurried and took it off and to my surprise found a big, squashed, cricket in my shoe. I FREAKED out. My sock and shoe had guts all over it. I was so so disgusted.

I Suck At Cooking...

Last night I attempted to make stroganoff which is an incredibly easy thing to do, but of course.. I ruined it. Alex ate a bunch but I knew it wasn't that good and I think he was just trying to make me feel better. I put too much flour in the sauce so it was kind of like eating toothpaste. Today I didn't go to math or english because I was sick all last night and today. I did go to my other classes but I just couldn't make it to those. Hopefully it's not the swine flu i've come down with. I am pretty excited to come home on Friday. I am not looking forward to driving 5 hours, but I will just make Alex drive the whole way. I am thinking about dyeing (is that how you spell it? It doesn't look right) my hair back brown. I was looking at pictures and I really liked it brown for like the first month. Once it started fading is when I couldn't stand it. I don't know what to do though. Alex wants me to dye it back brown but I can remember in July how badly I wanted it back blonde. But now I am not sure. I just hated the color it faded to. Lately I have been getting these uneasy stomach aches and I have been trying to figure out why. I have noticed that everytime I drink water down here, within minutes of drinking it, my stomach becomes uneasy. As soon as I realized this, I went straight to Walmart and bought a huge thing of bottled water and it's not happening anymore. I miss Brigham water. The water down here is so gross! Alex has a game tomorrow against SUU. It is supposed to be a HUGE deal. I heard that SUU told their coaches if they lose to Dixie, they were fired. Talk about pressure. Alex is excited, I will try and get some good pics at it. I'm going with my roommate Hailey and I hope tickets dont sell out. I have been debating whether or not to go buy tickets online because I heard that they were expected to sell out. I will have to look into it later tonight. I'm gonna go run now. Bye!

First Day of School

I officially HATE school. I have had such a long day today. Woke up at 7, had Biology from 9-10. Communications from 10-11. Lunch from 11-1 which consisted of a sandwich and some chips. Then came math (worst subject ever!) from 1-2. English from 2:30-3:45. And now I still have to go the gym and do a math assignment. Problem #'s 1-103 EOO. Someone please shoot me now. I already know this semester is going to be overwhelming. I have a math assignment to do every single night, a biology test once a week, and then my communications class I have to stand up and give speeches about who knows what. My English teacher looks like Smeagle too. He looks old and worn out, short, kinda pale/pasty skin with gray wispy hair. He wore a brown suit coat that covered his whole hand. Haha I couldn't help but chuckle to myself when he walked in. But his class will probably be the best out of the other ones. First off, he wrote his own book for the class which only cost me 13.00 which was SO nice. And, all of our papers are written about movies we watch. Even the research paper is about a movie of our choice. But I guess we will see as the semester goes on just how easy that is.

I asked Alex to take a picture with me since it was our first day of school which he really did not want to do. So I just started snapping pictures of him and pissing him off until he agreed to take one with me. Then, he grabbed my camera and started snapping pictures of me to piss me off.

I am looking forward to coming home next weekend. I will be coming home Thursday night and then leaving I think Monday morning on a plane. Not 100% sure on all the details yet though. I really wish I didn't have to work this weekend, I was totally planning on getting up Saturday morning and hittings some garage sales. I would think there is a possibility St. Geezy could have some good ones. Oh! And another thing I can complain about... I am totally bummed I am coming home on the weekend in between the county fair and peach days! So freakin unlucky! I havent been to either of those for two years now. I miss peach cobbler, ham fried rice from the Asian booth, non-alcoholic margarita samples, and of course- cotton candy and funnel cakes! Although I know Kristen will eat enough of the treats for the both of us! Haha just kidding Kristen, if you are reading this. Washington County Fair was two weeks ago, and I begged and begged Alex to take me. But he had football, and I didn't want to go by myself. Hopefully my sweet mother will buy me a bag of cotton candy and keep it for me for when I come home. :) Well, headed to the gym. Bye!

Off To College

I just moved back down to St. George last Wednesday and I have had nothing but trouble. I get down here and find out my air conditioning is down. It has taken almost a week to finally get it fixed and now I get really cold in my room and have to put a jacket on. In order to sleep at nights without the AC, I had to buy a big fan from Walmart and set it on my nightstand next to my bed and blow it right on my face and naked body haha. It was awful. The AC just kept freezing over and maintenance couldn’t figure out why. It happened twice, and then they finally figured out yesterday what was causing it. Check out the freeze we had goin’ on. Yes, the white stuff it ice. And that black tubing you see there is frozen solid too.

Alex has been doing football twice a day now for almost three weeks and I sure am grateful it’s not me out in that weather. I like to go watch his practice every once in awhile. I will have to post some pictures when I can get some good ones. His first game is next week and he is pretty excited. If you would like to check out his schedule, click here.

I’m totally dreading school. Its starts on Monday and I am nowhere near ready for it. I am enrolled in Math 1050, English 2010, Biology 1620 with the lab, and Communications 1010. This brings the total to 15 credit hours. Yuck. Have I ever mentioned how much I absolutely and desperately LOVE Subway chocolate chip cookies? Thank you Otis Spunkmeyer...
